The Social Club for West Surrey & East/NE Hampshire
There is a Solitaire Club Night on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening of
every week. The Club Night starts from about 8:00pm and goes
on until about 10:30 or 11:00pm.
We meet in several different places, so please check the list below carefully. Feel free to
phone a member on the Solitaire Committee to be sure.

The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest
"The Jolly Farmer" is at Blacknest crossroads. There is plenty of space for car parking behind the pub.
From Alton take London Road through Holybourne. When you reach Binsted, continue straight on for another 2 miles
and look for the "Jolly Farmer" on the left, just before Blacknest crossroads.
From the A31, you should turn off through Bentley. Turn south in the centre of the village onto Station Road.
Blacknest is about 1¾ miles along this road. Immediately after you pass the "Jolly Farmer", turn right and right
again to enter the car park.
From Petersfield, Bordon or Farnham, turn off the A325 towards Blacknest opposite the "Halfway House" at
Bucks Horn Oak. The "Jolly Farmer" is about a ½ mile from the A325. From the south, turn off early
towards Blacknest.
Note that many of the roads in the area are quite narrow. In particular, the lane towards Binsted opposite
the "Hen & Chicken" involves a dangerous junction with the dual carriageway A31.
